Here is my take for the October challenge at 123 Challenge Couldn't resist a bit of olive green, and it just seemed to work with this photo of my daughter up a tree...

The paper behind the photo was some she created herself with a stamp and various stamp pads...so thought I should use it here..

Kraft + July Challenge

Here is another photo featuring me (what was I thinking!) for the July challenge at Kraft+.
It was such a beautiful mood board.

I thought I would go with the music and the general colour scheme. I have used some MME and Kaisercraft papers and diecuts, with various flowers, sheet music and Prima music stamp.

Hope to get on to some more challenges soon.  I have started a crop night with my neighbour which has been fun and has meant I have got some more scrapping done lately!

Kraft+ April Challenge

Decided to play along with the challenge at Kraft+  this month as it was a great black and white challenge.  I took the opportunity to scrapbook this photo of me and my husband who happened to be away for work for the night.  It came together really quickly which is so unusual for me!

I took inspiration from the "with love" tag and the mandala designs on the mood board, using a couple of stamps from Stampin' Up to create my embellishments. Mostly happy with the way it turned out!

February 123 Challenge

And seeing as I did this one earlier in the month, thought I should post it while I am on a roll...

This photo is about 10 years old, taken when we were still living in Australia.  I love the colour red and I use hearts on my layouts a lot so this was quite easy to incorporate.  The "Lovely" tile was an old one I have had in my stash for ages...

White with 1 February challenge

It's been a long time since I have uploaded to this blog.  I think I've just felt a little less confident about putting things out there lately, for no particular reason.  Anyway, I was drawn to the White with 1 challenge for this month (what can I say, chocolate !) and here is my take on it...

Scrap The Girls September Challenge.

 Spent Sunday afternoon at the Wellington Paper Arts show, and got some inspiration to start scrapbooking again.  Just managed to get a layout done for the Scrap the Girls September challenge.  Based on the lovely sketch below and the beautiful layouts from the design team.



Here is my take...

I have used a lot of the colours in Abi's duvet cover with glimmer mists and the little flowers from the Paper Arts show.  I love the fact that both my girls have been good readers, and it really shows in their school results as well.  There is nothing like a good book!
